Founded in 1990, Panoramic Interests builds high-density infill development projects in the Bay Area. Across the Berkeley and San Francisco area, the company is responsible for over 1,000 new housing units as well as 100,000 square feet of commercial space.
Recently, the company was in the market for a handful of shelving units. They were searching for simple, functional shelves to help organize the storage in the bathrooms of a Berkeley apartment they were working on. Their goal was to find something that was affordable and easy to install that they could use for things like supplies, cleaning materials, and overflow storage.
They’d used Modern Shelving in the past in one of their offices and really liked the look and quality, so the choice for their bathroom install was an obvious one. They opted for stock shelves for the 12-unit apartment building.
“The experience was very smooth,” says Panoramic Interests project manager Yuhan Ke. “We didn’t work directly with the design team since we went with standard options, but everything arrived as expected and was easy to work with.”
Panoramic Interests purchased 12 shelving units for the Berkeley apartment building project but plans to order more. They have a new project coming up in Berkeley and are planning to use the shelves there as well. When everything is said and done, they will have installed roughly 100 Modern Shelving units.
“We're very happy with the shelves,” says Yuhan. “They look clean and modern, and the quality is solid. We especially like how easy they were to install and how well they fit into the space without feeling bulky.”
